The duration of the hair transplant with the ARTAS robot depends on the number of follicular units that are extracted and implanted, but it usually ranges between 4 and 8 hours. The procedure is performed in a single session, under local anesthesia and on an outpatient procedure.

The results of hair transplantation with the ARTAS robot are not immediate, but are seen progressively over a period of months. The transplanted hair usually falls out between 2 and 6 weeks after the procedure, which is normal and is part of the follicular renewal process. The new hair starts to grow from the third month onwards, and a significant change can be observed after the sixth month. The final result is achieved after one year, when the transplanted hair reaches its final length and thickness.
